Bilancia’s new release La Collina Syrah 2009 from Hawkes Bay channels the magic of Brett-free Northern Rhone. It’s easily one of New Zealand’s best examples of this outstanding style: with excellent use of oak combined with well-balanced acid, this is expressivity exemplified.
